Indigo Cashier
Indigo Cashier allows users to view their account balances and their recent transactional histories from a web browser using the My Balances and My Reports functions. Indigo Cashier eliminates the need for users to logon to client computers or print release stations to view their balances and account histories.

Indigo Cashier allows authorised staff to view users’ balances and manually credit or debit their print and copy accounts, issue refunds and even debit their accounts as payment for items sold over the counter. Staff can view reports showing a user’s recent transactions and print out receipts for any payments made. Staff can be given Cashier-only privileges so that they do not require any access to Indigo, Pharos or Pcounter’s administrative functions leaving them confident in their use of the system.

Indigo Card Payment
Indigo Card Payment allows users to purchase print and copy credit using their debit or credit cards or PayPal balances. Payments are taken via the secure and trusted WorldPay or PayPal systems and all financial transactions are performed on their servers providing peace of mind in regards to accountability and fraud protection. At no stage of the transaction is the user’s card number revealed to Indigo or recorded on your network protecting the user’s privacy while remaining highly secure. Indigo allows your organisation to set minimum payment levels to ensure that transaction costs are always covered.

Moving to a system of online, web-based payment reduces or even removes the need for costly hardware-based money loaders that requires emptying, securing and maintaining. With Indigo Card Payment there are no machines to empty, no coins and notes to count or security personnel to employ. There is also no need for complex hardware-based credit/debit card readers that need to be sourced and authorised for use by your bank.

  

 

Indigo Reports for Pcounter
Indigo Reports extend the standard Pcounter reporting functionality providing access to detailed statistics and elegant graphical reports all from the convenience of your web-browser. All Indigo Reports can be printed out and exported in the most popular file formats including Excel, CSV and PDF to list but a few.

Indigo reports allow authorised staff to view detailed reports covering all aspects of print and copy activity, all financial transactions within a given date range and a list of the most popular printers, copiers and the most prolific users!

Indigo Reports are always a welcome addition to any Pcounter implementation whether new or well-established.

Authentication?
Both users and staff are only allowed to access Indigo once they have successfully authenticated against your organisation’s Active Directory, Novell eDirectory or LDAP system. Alternatively users can be authenticated live against ODBC-compliant library management systems, databases and information export in CSV or text format. There is absolutely no need to create additional accounts in the Indigo system for your staff or users unless required.

In addition Indigo also allows staff to be given varying roles within the system such as, Cashier, Account Manager, User Report Manager and Configuration Manager. All of these roles can be combined and allocated to suit your changing requirements.
